It was a 100 kilometer route clockwise around the peninsula and back to Clover Point. 45 riders took part this year, an encouraging start for a yearly tradition.

The ride brings awareness about the lack of support for mental health services which is one of the most pressing issues facing youth today. The consequences can be tragic. 762 Young Canadians take their own lives each year!

This event was in concert with the national Right By You Campaign, and this year brought more attention to Clara's Hughes' Big Ride sponsored by Bell Let's Talk, passing through Victoria May 15, 2014.
