Hit The 'Save' Key

As a new venturer into the computer/word processing field it strikes me that there is a parallel between dealing with a mood disorder and working on a document.

When writing a really good piece on a computer, if you're cautious you'll take care to 'save' that document as you go along.

As a manic/depressive I keep consciously pushing the 'save' key to try to safe guard the good stuff I've established up to then. The 'new document' I'm getting cooking on -- having a long good stretch -- being creative, productive, making new connections, new initiatives, a new positive identity -- could be so easily lost and take so much time and energy to reconstruct.

Keep hitting the save key! Keep track of that good stuff! Proceed with caution!
